All incoming voice calls and SMS are free.
After you purchase a TPG mobile plan, we will send you a confirmation email to pickup your SIM card from one of our locations. Once we verify your identification, we will then activate your SIM card and hand it to you on the spot.
Our SIM card contains a single SIM in all sizes: Standard, Micro and Nano. Once you have the SIM card, simply push out the SIM type you need.
This Service Trial is initially available to pre-registered users with Singapore NRIC and Permanent Pass holders 18 years old and above. This trial offer may be withdrawn at any time subject to market conditions.
TPG Mobile Services are supplied on a rolling month to month basis. Customers are permitted to terminate the acquisition of the Service at any time, but you will forfeit any payments already made. TPG encourages the active use of our SIMs. If TPG notices that there is no data usage for a continuous 60 days period, TPG reserves the right to terminate the contract and recover your allotted number.
You can only use the service for usage types that are included as part of the plan. Any other usage types such as Calls & SMS to International Numbers and MMS are not supported. If you exceed your plan’s inclusion for a specific usage type, that usage type will be barred for the remainder of the monthly billing period except for data. TPG will send you notification via SMS when you have exceeded your usage limit.
It is not a requirement of TPG Mobile Services that customers acquire handsets or other equipment from TPG. However, you must have a compatible mobile handset to be able to use this service.
Fair use Policy
All TPG mobile plans are for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes or in a manner that may adversely affect the mobile network. In particular the services may not be used for wholesaling, reselling, SIM boxing or any other commercial purposes. If TPG reasonably believes that you are using the service for commercial purposes in breach of this clause, or in a manner that may adversely affect the mobile network, TPG may immediately suspend the mobile service and may provide 24 hours’ notice of termination of the mobile service. When your daily data usage exceeds 2GB, your speeds will be capped at 1Mbps for the remainder of the day.
Customers can only use the service when they use a 4G-ready (LTE 2300MHz/900MHz) handset or device in coverage areas. When customers are not within a TPG coverage area or their handset or device is not 4G-ready (LTE 2300MHz/900MHz), the TPG mobile service cannot be used. When inside the coverage areas, actual speeds vary due to factors such as location, distance from the base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware & software configuration and download source/upload destination. Currently, TPG does not have any coverage in tunnels.
Voice and Public Emergency Calling:
Mobile voice calling is supported on a best-effort basis during this trial period. Making and receiving mobile voice calls require a VoLTE device compatible with the TPG network. Please note that:
a. VoLTE devices supported by the TPG network are Huawei Nova 3i, and from mid January 2019 Samsung S9/S9+, Huawei P20 and Mate 20 series phones.
b. If you do not use a compatible VoLTE device, voice calls including calls to emergency services will not work.
Unlimited Mobile-to-Mobile calls is currently available to all TPG numbers. Mobile voice calling to other local mobiles will be available when our interconnections with the local operators are facilitated. TPG Mobile users will be provided with updates via SMS when the ability to call/SMS other local mobile users is available. We encourage users to use OTT applications such as Whatsapp, Wechat, Line and Viber when calling your family, friends and colleagues which leverages our awesome network. 1. What is TPG SIM Only Mobile plan?
Our SIM only mobile plans allow you to use your existing mobile phone on our mobile network. To get started, simply sign up online and then we will send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to pick up your TPG SIM card.
Unlike most providers, we don’t lock you in to 12 or 24 months plans. Our plans are month to month which gives you more flexibility.
2. What are the eligibility requirements for the Plan?
For regulatory purposes, we will ask you to upload a proof of identification. You will need to bring the original ID which was uploaded during registration when you pick up the SIM card from our pick up location.
The proof of identification can be one of the following documents with at least 6 months validity:
- Work Permit
- Employment Pass
- Diplomatic Pass
- Long Term Visit Pass
- Dependent Pass
- Student Pass
Please note, passport and driver’s license are not accepted.
You will also need to bring a copy of your current billing address when you pick up your SIM. The following documents are accepted:
- Utility bill (e.g. home broadband, mobile, electricity)
- Title deed or tenancy agreement
3. Can someone else pick up the SIM card on my behalf?
Yes, you can authorise a proxy to pick up your SIM card on your behalf. Please complete and sign this authorisation form. Your proxy must bring this form together with their original NRIC and your original NRIC when picking up the SIM card.
4. How do I activate my SIM Card?
Your TPG SIM card will be activated automatically when you pick it up from one of our pick up locations.
5. How am I billed for my mobile service?
- The recurring charges for TPG Mobile service are payable monthly in advance. Payment options are GIRO (DBS & OCBC banks only), Visa or Mastercard.
- We will email you an invoice before we charge you for your monthly recurring charges
6. Can I use the service for anything else other than what’s included in the plan?
You can only use the service for usage types that are included as part of the plan. Any other usage types such as Calls & SMS to International Numbers and MMS are not supported. If you exceed your plan’s inclusion for a specific usage type, that usage type will be barred for the remainder of the monthly billing period.
7. Is there any limitation pertaining to the Unlimited Data?
You can use the first 2GB per day (both downloads and uploads are counted) at our 4G speeds. After you’ve used 2GB in a day, your speeds will be capped at 1Mbps until 01:00 AM on the next day. While capped at 1Mbps, you’re free to use the service as much as you’d like.
8. How do I check my usage?
Simply log in to My Account with your TPG account details to check your usage.
9. Can I use my TPG mobile overseas? (International Roaming)
We don’t currently support International Roaming. You can only use the service within Singapore.
10. I lost my phone and/or my SIM card
If you lose your phone or your SIM card, please let us know as soon as possible via email at email@example.com. We'll confirm your replacement SIM Card order, then you can pick up your replacement SIM card from any of the available TPG Sim Card pick-up locations. A $10 SIM replacement fee will be charged.
