SIM Pick-up and Activation

 

 

 

Before picking up your SIM

The following documents are required to collect your SIM:

 

1. Order Confirmation Email

When a registration/sign-up for TPG Mobile submitted successfully, TPG will send an Order Confirmation email. This email consists of an order number and barcode that will be used to identify your application. Your registration is valid for 30 days.

 

2. Original ID Document

The ID document you intent to provide must be the same as what you supplied at the time of your registration. TPG accepts the following ID documents:

Foreign Visitors Long Term Visit Pass Not less than six months
Dependent Pass Not less than six months
Foreign Students Student Pass Not less than six months

Permanent Passes must have a minimum validity period of six (6) months on the date of SIM card collection.

 

3. Proof of Billing Address

The address on your Proof of Billing Address document must be the same as the address you supplied at the time of your registration. TPG accepts the following documents. All proof of billing address must be dated within three (3) months on the date of SIM card collection and indicating the residential address unless otherwise stated:

  • Utility bills in your name (e.g. home broadband, electricity, mobile phone)
  • Title Deed or Tenancy Agreement 
  • Current or Savings Bank Account Statements
  • Letters from School (signed by Principal)
  • Letters from Housing Development Board, Ministry of Manpower, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and Central Provident Fund
  • Letters from Company HR with Company Letterhead and Company Stamp

 

Do you need someone else to pick up the SIM on your behalf?

You can nominate an authorised person to pick up your SIM on your behalf. Please complete and sign this authorisation form. Your proxy must bring this form together with their original NRIC and your original NRIC when picking up the SIM card.

Connecting to TPG

Your SIM is automatically activated when you pick it up. To connect to TPG:
 

1. Pop out the right size SIM card for your mobile device and then insert it into your device.

2. Enter the APN Settings below on your mobile device:

  • Name: TPG
  • APN: TPG
  • Leave everything else blank
